Khloe Kardashian DIY Blackhead Removal: Activated Charcoal

posted by Jessica Carroll June 9, 2016

Hello Beauties! I’m back again with another way to get all the benefits of activated charcoal. This time on your face! I’m making a DIY charcoal paste to use as a face mask. Celebrities like Khloe Kardashian swear by their favorite charcoal mask to rid their face of acne and blackheads, so I wanted to find out if this key ingredient can really be the trick to cleanse and purify my skin!

I did a bit of my own research and learned that activated charcoal is created when oxygen is added to regular charcoal, so don’t be confused by the regular bricks you barbecue with. 😉 Charcoal is known to absorb 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities making it a great natural ingredient to help purify and deep-clean skin. With all these celebrities claiming that it draws out impurities from their pores, I had to put this key ingredient to the test, but with my own twist. I’ll show you how to make your own DIY charcoal face mask (one with coconut oil and one with glue) that is probably much cheaper than anything you can buy at the store or online! Do you want to know how my face felt after applying this black residue? Do you think it’s another quick fix or quick fib? Well, find out by watching!! Click here!
